Sunday, 17th May.
After the deluge on Friday, it didn't seem possible that we could waken the next morning to brilliant sunshine and blue skies...but that's exactly what happened! We've had a lazy, relaxing weekend...yesterday (Saturday) was spent on ferry rides to Stresa and two of the Borromee Islands, with stops at each to explore and today, a stroll along the waterfront is about all we've managed so far. It's just like being on holidays!
