Wednesday, 6th May.
Leaving Fresnay this morning in lovely, lovely sunshine we drove south, skirting Le Mans, stopping at a Decathlon store to buy a couple of rain jackets (after being drenched while cycling on Monday we thought we should be better prepared in future!) and a polar fleece each and continued on to a lunch spot in a forest. After lunch we drove further south, and a little bit east, to our aire in the delightful town of Esvres-sur-Indre on the outskirts of Tours on the Loire. Once we'd settled in, had a cup of coffee and a "chat" with our French neighbours and their young grandson, we did our usual stroll through the town before retiring for the night. There are 7 motorhomes here and all, except our Boris who is now 15, are quite new.
