Today was a lazy day. Breakfast was shared with seven Frenchmen who arrived late last night, bringing with them their mountain bikes on which they rode about 70 kms today. They're here for three nights and plan to do more riding tomorrow, the oldest is 75, the others considerably younger.
The Frenchmen came in two cars, one of which carried two bikes, the other towed this trailer which carries 5 bikes.
We spent some time this morning planning the next week of our journey and booking accommodation, then rode into town for another look around and to do some grocery shopping as tomorrow's accommodation has a kitchenette, so we will be able to prepare our own meals.
The town is very attractive, albeit with lots of hills which are easily negotiable when carrying no luggage. the weather is on/off with the sun making several appearances but the wind has a biting edge and there has been some rain, but nothing serious. We're currently enjoying the half bottle of red we bought at the supermarket and will ride back into town later for an evening meal.
